Young innovators across the Bay of Plenty came together to share their creative ideas, solve problems and celebrate the Young Innovator Awards (yia!) for 2022.

This month, a new yia! website was launched in time for the 2022 Young Innovator Awards. The Headless CMS website was built by Cucumber to a design from Woods Agency.

Today we have the Amigos team in the office. They are from Otumoetai College and were the winners of the Junior section of Young Innovator Awards NZ

Today we have Michael Ren in the office - Michael was the senior winner of the Young Innovators Awards and one of his prizes was a 2 day internship with Cucumber.

In the YiA Awards 2020., 1st place in the Junior Category went to Claire Ma for her innovation SOAP. As part of her prize, Claire won a 2 day internship at Cucumber.

Last week, Cucumber had the pleasure of hosting 2 winners from the Young Innovators Awards 2018. They were spending time with us as their winning ideas were an app and a website and the goal was to help them develop their idea further over the 2 days they were here.
