Artificial Intelligence using Machine Learning & Computer Vision

This week’s Cucumber knowledge sharing session led by Matías Iacono focused on Machine Learning and Computer Vision, key components of building Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.

The hands-on session discussed tools, techniques and limitations of building Computer Vision models. We explored the different tools and used already implemented solutions. The session did not require any coding skills so the whole team was able to be involved.

We think it is important to make technology like AI more accessible to a range of businesses (including those who might not have the budget of Elon Musk) as well as to students who our team already spend a lot of time with. AI can really help with reducing the manual nature of some jobs – it doesn’t mean you won’t need people but in a very tight labour market it might allow your staff to have time to focus on the more important jobs.

Give us a shout if you want to find out more from our team at Cucumber.
